Market sense, minus the crystal ball

The right market answer starts with your address and your goal.

A Phoenix metro headline can’t tell you what your Gilbert home is worth or what a particular buyer can negotiate in Mesa. Price range, property condition, competition, financing, and timing all matter.

The practical move: look at recent comparable homes, active alternatives, and how long similar listings take to find a buyer. Then build a plan around your actual numbers.

Before you trust a market headline, ask:

  • Which city, neighborhood, and price range?
  • Are we comparing similar homes?
  • Is this asking price, pending activity, or closed sales?
  • How does it change my decision?

“The market is crazy” is an observation. A plan is more useful.

Protect what matters

Insurance should make sense before you need it.

A premium is one number. The real question is what happens after a loss. Here are the conversations I want homeowners to have before renewal day gets spicy.

Coverage 101

Does your dwelling limit reflect rebuilding cost?

Market value and rebuild cost answer different questions. Ask how the limit was estimated and whether recent improvements changed it.

Property changes

New roof, remodel, or major repair?

Tell your insurance professional. Changes can affect replacement cost, eligibility, discounts, and what your policy needs to reflect.

Claims & deductibles

Know your out-of-pocket number.

Review your deductible and applicable exclusions before a claim. The least expensive premium is not always the least expensive surprise.

Buying or selling

Bring insurance into the timeline early.

Get a property-specific quote while you still have time to investigate roof, prior-loss, or underwriting questions. Closing day has enough plot twists.

Your five-minute head start

  • Define your move and ideal timing.
  • Know your comfortable monthly number.
  • List the property details that could affect value or coverage.
  • Gather questions you’ve been meaning to ask.
  • Talk through options before committing.

Ready when you are

A little preparation beats a lot of “wait, what?”

Whether you’re six months from a move or just trying to understand the home you already own, we can turn scattered questions into a sensible next step.

Meet your navigator

Hi, I’m Jeremy Bridwell.

I work in Greater Phoenix real estate and property and casualty insurance. My job is to help you see the options, understand the tradeoffs, and make a choice that serves you—not just complete a transaction.

I’ve worked across hundreds of real estate transactions, and I know how much better decisions get when someone explains the “why” without turning it into a 47-slide seminar. Expect straight answers, a protective eye for details, and the occasional well-timed dad joke.

How I can help

Buying or selling a home, reviewing property coverage, or figuring out where those decisions overlap.

Tell me what you’re working through. We’ll start with your goals and go from there.

Bring your questions. I’ll bring the map.

Tell me whether this is a real estate question, an insurance question, or one of those “a little of both” situations. We’ll sort out a good next step together.
